Remnants

Remnants is a stirring retrospective of Armando Mesías’ formative years, gathering works from 2020 through 2025 that were once supporting elements in his practice but now claim the spotlight. Each canvas, scrap of jute, and swath of cheesecloth bears the layered history of past series and evolving identities—revealing time not as linear, but as richly textured and deeply lived. Themes and materials recur like echoes, grounding the viewer in a visual language shaped by memory, intuition, and transformation.
