Galerie Ground is pleased to present MONOLOGUE, a solo exhibition by Peter-Maximilian Ronsdorf, opening Tuesday, September 16 in Los Angeles. This powerful new series explores the delicate balance between painterly intensity and contemplative restraint. Each canvas is a monologue of color; punched, layered, and explosive, yet held together by the artist’s methodical refinement of brush, movement, and moment.
Ronsdorf’s work draws the viewer into a space where gesture becomes language and silence becomes structure. Gradients shift, lines hold weight, and brushstrokes embody gravity, offering an experience that is at once immediate and meditative. In MONOLOGUE, painting itself becomes conversation; an intimate dialogue between color and form, chaos and control, expression and stillness.
