A POWER REVERSE RITUAL

Armando Mesías is a Colombian-born artist based in Madrid. He explores the ever-shifting nature of identity and the effects memory, context, and the passage of time have on it. His pieces span thorugh different stages of his research and long periods of time. Thus are marked by wear and decay, intentional marks and gestures that are a nod to his traditional training in painting and drawing. Mesías' work has been exhibited in different locations in Europe, Latin America, Japan and the United States.
